This is a pay for production fanzine, dedicated to our favorite Martial God of the Southwest, Mu Qing.Will it be SFW or NSFW?
This zine will be SFW.Can I draw any other characters with Mu Qing?

FAQ

How many contributors will there be?
There will be 10 writers, 27 artists, and 3 merch artists. Subject to change (more artists/writers/merch artists) depending on how many applicants we get.
How many guests will there be?
Four guests: Merch Artist, Page Art, Writer and Cover Artist
Will guests be given special treatment?
No, they will be treated like every other contributor.
Can my piece have other characters in it?
Yes! Your fic/art/merch can have other characters, as long as Mu Qing is the focal point.
What is the selection process like?
For artists and merch artists, we will be looking for overall skill and understanding of light, values, and anatomy (not always applicable to merch artists). For writers, we're looking for compelling characters, a well-developed plot, engaging writing style, and emotional resonance.WRITERS
How do I apply?
Fics are to be uploaded to a Google drive folder. Each fic must be it's own Google Doc.
Do not copy/paste your fic in the Application Form.
Can I submit work that is longer than 1 - 3k?
Yes. We prefer 1-3k, but it is not required.
How many words will the writers have to work with?
Each writer will get 4.5k words.
Do the fics need to be strictly Mu Qing for the application?
No. Examples of your writing do not need to be strictly Mu Qing. However, we do prefer that they are MXTX related.ARTISTS
Can I submit old work for the application?
We are looking for art that will reflect what your piece will look like in the zine. So as long as it reflects your current skillset, that is fine!
Does my artwork need to be MXTX related for the application?
Any illustrations are fine. We are looking for overall skill in these applications.MERCH ARTISTS
Can I submit more than one merch idea?
Yes! You are welcome to submit as many ideas as you like.
Can I produce more than one merchie?
Yes, absolutely.
